“U.S relations with China is a necessary evil”

     United States and China have always been fighting for the top spot. United States and china have totally different ways though. China will not go by our western ways. I don’t think it matters tough cause there way is working just as well as ours. It may be a mean and forceful way but they are a very smart country. Everything now of days says made in china so they must rack in a lot of money. China has many exports and even imports. So if you get China mad they may end up not suppling you with the stuff you need, they have plenty of other countries to export too so they won’t be in a huge dept.
   
     China has been in a lot of wars and rebellions and they are turning out fine. Also China had a revolution in the 1900’s. Sun Yat-sen wanted the government to change and get Qing Dynasty out of the government. Sun Yat-sen had 3 goals to end foreign domination, form a representative government, and create economic security. In 1911 Yat-sen became the new president of the Chinese Republic.

    Nationalist and Communists tried to unite with China. Nationalist and communists started becoming enemies they couldn’t work together. The civil war lasted for 22 years, nationalists vs. communists.

    United States was in the cold war with china. The United States didn’t even recognize china. Then when they went into the Korean War China and the United States like different sides. Like South Korea and North Korea.

     China’s work habits are a lot different from the United States. China only pays there workers very low cash and then sell if for higher prices so they make easy profits. The United states pay their people more money then China so the United States have to sell there products higher then China. So every Country wants to buy China’s products more then United States because its cheaper.

     U.S has some good relations with china but its not all bad and not all good. Our trading is a good relation with china. China has those bad sweat shops though but they do make them a lot of money. We both have some bad government choices too. China’s government was really bad it practically started a war.

Discuss the caste system in terms of its justification by the Brahmins, and the impact on the Dalits.

The caste system is justified by the Brahmins because the Brahmins are at the top of the caste system, they have all the power. Also when Brahmins have children their children are automatically Brahmins too. Those children will also have the same job as their parents cause that's how their system works.
    Dalits are impacted in many ways. A way is that if a Dalit interacts with people from a higher class then, the higher class people will get polluted. Also Dalit children that go to school have to clean the bathrooms and sit in the back row. When your sitting in the back row you can barely hear the teacher so they don’t learn that well. If Dalit goes into a public place owned by a person from a higher class, then they have to take there shoes off. The Dalits don’t even have a punishment if they where shoes in one of those places because it would never happen. Dalits can never move up a class so they will be like that for the rest of their lives. The class system is not a fair system, people are treated very very differently and its very rude.

Middle East GNP

GNP in the middle is east countries is not balanced. Some countries have up to 342 billion and others as low as about 6 billion. All countries are different sizes so the bigger one have a bigger advantage over the smaller ones. I think the countries with the highest standard living are the richest ones and the biggest ones. So like Turkey and Saudi Arabia are the high standard living countries. Saudi Arabia is a very big country in the middle of the middle east so there surrounded by all the other countries. Conflicts in this region maybe against the richer countries and the poorer countries. As if Turkey and  Turkmenistan. Turkey is very rich and Turkmenistan not so much. Turkey also has more people then Turkmenistan. More conflicts would be like countries resources. As like a country had more oil or water then another. If the country didn’t communicate with them they may end up starting a war or a big conflict. Also Armenia, a land locked country, they will have to pay more for sea food and other items from the sea.

Jewish-Arab Conflict

    The Roman destroyed the city of Jerusalem and forced out the Jewish survivors from the country. About 580,0000 men died, Romans and Jews. Hadrian changed the name of the city from Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina. He also ordered the temple of jupiter on the jewish temple site and forbid any Jew to come within sight of the city. The Jews did not abandon their land. The Jews came back and rebuilt their land. Some others Jews went to the Roman conquest for other points. New settlements formed like Jewish Arabian communities to release from the captivity in Babylon. Then Palestinian got involved. The Arab Conquest-bear is important of the Arab-Jewish relationship until this day. People believe the Jews first settled in Arabia. Arabia offered a near asylum to the Jews who had been hurt by the Romans. The holiest city in Arab, Medina, was first settled by the Jewish tribes. I think Arabian deserves Palestine because they were a pretty good place. They help the Jews when the Romans attacked them. Its fine that some of their settlements were Jewish at first, but things can change. You can’t own everything forever. People make trades and deals.

Why do they keep blaming everything on us? They have gave us plenty of reasons but they not true.

They hate the Israel & Palestine conflict cause they feel we are helping the Israel more then Palestine.

3. Why might acknowledging that U.S. policies have anything to do with jihadist attacks be seen as "politically incorrect" and "blaming the victim"?

The jihadist hate the U.S policies so they show they anger by attacking. They are blaming the victim by saying the U.S allied policy has stuff to do with there attacks.

4. Despite a year of effort by Obama's special envoy George Mitchell to move the Israelis and Palestinians toward a negotiated two-state solution, there's been no visible progress. Why not? If you need more information, how might you find it?

There hasn’t been visible progress because they don’t see the way others see.

Israel declared war then set up blockades. The blockade stopped them from doing housing projects.

Why do they hate the Jews and Christians? Also why can’t Bin Laden tell the truth?

2. Years have passed since President Bush's comments. What knowledge and evidence do you have to support, add to, amend, or oppose his explanation for terrorist acts? Why might jihadists want to overthrow certain Muslim governments? Drive Israel out of the Middle East? If you don't know how might you find out?

Osama Bin Laden told us that he hates our democratic government. We also do stand in Al Qaeda’s way. Jihadists might want to do these things because they want to show the U.S.A who’s boss.  They also don’t like the Muslims way of living.

3. Even more years have passed since Bin Laden's harsh critique of the United States. What knowledge and evidence do you have to support, add to, amend, or oppose that critique.

We attacked his country/ holy land he hurt ours to show us he have power too. We might have harmed them but he shouldn’t of killed innocent people.

4. According to Wright, what has led young men in Arab countries to find martyrdom attractive?

Wright had said that the young men would find a new life here. The young men needed to find dramatic remedies too.

5. According to polling in Muslim countries, how popular is Al Qaeda? Why?

Al Qaeda isn’t popular its plan is to murder civilians. The polls say that citizens in islamic countries and other places say that they disagree with indiscriminate killing.

Why didn’t we get to see the questions Obama was asked? This could be answered by the full transcript of the press conference.

2. What is President Obama's answer? Brennan's? 

Obama says that al Qaeda wants to get more more people without know terrorist affiliations. Also that we should be talk to the muslims around the world about how al Qaeda has nothing to offer and the the U.S have lots.

Brennan said the al Qaeda is dedicated to murder and wanton slaughter of innocents.  They have been trying to get more individuals for their attacks. The motivation is religion.

3. Thomas was clearly dissatisfied with Brennan's answer. Why? Would she have been satisfied with the president's? Why or why not?

Thomas wasn’t satisfied with Brennan’s answer because he wouldn’t say why al Qaeda was using a banner of religion. I think she would of liked the president’s because he explained why al Qaeda was recruiting new people.  I think the main problem with Brennan’s answer was that he wasn’t answering her question.

4. Why does Glenn Greenwald think its important to consider terrorist motivations? Do you agree? Why or why not?

Greenwald thinks its important to consider terrorist motivations cause surprisingly people don’t ask many questions about it. Yes I do agree cause terrorist are very important cause they could easily hurt our economy or destroy a memorable statue or place.

5. How would you answer Thomas' question, "Why?" Why do Hasan, Abdulmutallab, and others commit such acts?? If you need more reliable information, where might you find it?

They commit these acts cause they want to get more people involved with their group. Also they hate our american system. Now that Osama Bin Laden is dead, Al Qaeda may be over. Al Qaeda’s goal has not changed. Also they have kept using terrorism.
